How to get there

From Cubao
-> ride a bus to Balanga via Bataan Transit (inside Five Star Bus terminal), travel time is three hours and fare is 200 pesos, other bus company plying to Balanga is Genesis Transport
-> from Balanga ride a jeep to Bagac Market, travel time is around 1 hour and fare is 47 pesos
-> from Bagac Market ride a tricycle to Fajardo’s beach resort fare is 15 pesos if you’re alone or 10 pesos per person for 4 persons
-> then ride a boat to Playa La Caleta for 1800 for 10 pax, roundtrip

Tips:

  • If you’re going on a weekend, be sure to arrive early at the bus station
    Contact Playa La Caleta so that they can recommend a boatman for your group
  • There’s a small pathway beside Fajardo’s leading to the beach, so that you don’t have to pay entrance fee at Fajardo’s
  • If you’re staying overnight, DO bring mosquito repellents and a thick blanket
  • Bring enough supply of food and water
  • only Smart has strong signal

Day 1
04:00 AM – Meet up/ ETD Cubao to Balanga via Bataan Transit
07:00 AM – ETA Balanga
07:00 AM – 08:00 AM – Jeep from Balanga to Bagac Market
08:00 AM – 09:00 AM – Buy supplies at the Market
09:00 AM – 09:15 AM – tricycle ride to Fajardo’s beach resort
09:15 AM – 10:00 AM – boat ride to PLC
10:00 AM – arrival at PLC/register/
*set up tent/cook food/ swim all day long/snorkeling
*cliff diving at Miguelito’s Island
*sleep zzzzz
06:00 PM – prepare dinner
08:00 PM – socials/stargazing

Day 2
07:00 AM – wake up/prepare breakfast  (there’s no need to rush hehe)
*tambay mode, relax and enjoy the place
11:30 AM – leave PLC
12:00 NN – lunch at Bagac Market
01:00 PM – 02:00 PM – ETA at Bataan Transit Bus Terminal
02:00 PM – 05:00 PM – ETA Cubao
