How to get there
From Cubao
-> ride a bus to Balanga via Bataan Transit (inside Five Star Bus terminal), travel time is three hours and fare is 200 pesos, other bus company plying to Balanga is Genesis Transport
-> from Balanga ride a jeep to Bagac Market, travel time is around 1 hour and fare is 47 pesos
-> from Bagac Market ride a tricycle to Fajardo’s beach resort fare is 15 pesos if you’re alone or 10 pesos per person for 4 persons
-> then ride a boat to Playa La Caleta for 1800 for 10 pax, roundtrip
Tips:
- If you’re going on a weekend, be sure to arrive early at the bus station
Contact Playa La Caleta so that they can recommend a boatman for your group - There’s a small pathway beside Fajardo’s leading to the beach, so that you don’t have to pay entrance fee at Fajardo’s
- If you’re staying overnight, DO bring mosquito repellents and a thick blanket
- Bring enough supply of food and water
- only Smart has strong signal
